We have several opportunities to help support our teachers and the PTSA over the next several months. Time commitment varies so check out the options and pick what's right for you! For more information on ways to volunteer at Geiger, visit our Volunteering page.

• Membership / Volunteer Chair – Serves throughout the year- recruiting members, sending communication to members, helping with website, emails, recruit volunteers for events, etc.

• Fundraising Chair – Serves throughout the year- helps drive fundraising strategy for the PTSA, leads a committee to plan fundraising efforts.

• Winter Wishes Chair (Nov/Dec) – Event Chair – Annual winter program provides donated items to Geiger families in need. Work with the counselors to manage requests and donated items. Planning in November with donations being sent home before Winter Break in December.

• Reflections Chair (Nov/Dec) – Event Chair ­– Reflections program is part of the National PTA program and allows Geiger students to participate in a national showcase. The theme changes annually. Planning begins in early November with final submissions due in early December.

• Art / Science Night (Feb/Mar) – Event Chair ­– Annual Spring event – Chair decides theme; partners with the teachers to create a student product (science project, art project, etc.) to showcase. Flexibility with formatting and activities. Planning begins in January with event in late February/March.

• Fun Run Chair (May/Jun) – Event Chair – Major fundraising event of the year! Chair convenes group of volunteers to organize event, secure sponsorships, promote registration, and manage day of needs. Planning begins in March/April with event in May/June.
